Pranaayam

These days the air is not polluted but it is toxic coz of the virus. The air we inhale should be pure. We should do Pranaayam in the mornings. Morning timings are preferable so as to take in fresh air, take in enough of oxygen, to purify the lungs and hence the body, mind and soul.

Pranaayam is controlled breathing. It increases the capacity of the lungs to take in pure fresh air, purify the blood, give out carbon-di-oxide and also boosts the immunity.

Pranaayam has many benefits.
It is the central theme of Yoga.
It is the link between the mind and body.
The air or oxygen we breathe in is not what it is, but the great vital force of energy called PRAN.
The body cells depend on oxygen present in the blood. And the air taken in by the lungs has oxygen.
It is an essential tool for relaxation of body and mind.
It helps to keep away fatigue.
It is an effective technique for stress management.
Deep and slow breathing is a powerful driving force for circulatory system.
Pranaayam also helps in diseases like bronchitis and asthma.
The Digestive and the Nervous system work smoothly.

There are innumerable unseen benefits also. This is why one should practice Pranaayam daily.
If it is included in our daily routine, it becomes a habit and then an addiction.Only then can we achieve its right benefits.

I shall discuss the types of Pranaayam in my next blog.

Pneumonia

To start with, my blog shall be a ready reference guide on this desk. It will indeed be a friend in need to give essential skill to the mothers, teachers, housewives and whosoever is concerned with theirs or others health. Here my little try is to light the life’s little candle of a needy person.

Praises are heaped when a soldier, or a policeman dies, while on duty. A common man receives a sorrowful farewell when we lose him in rail or plane crash. Griefs, condolences and compensation flows in when even a criminal dies drinking his “Lattha.”

In this difficult time, when the whole world is fighting against a pandemic, our acclamation and sympathy should be reserved for the brave, daring doctors who are trolling hard to cure the COVID 19 patients and to those doctors as well, who died during this pandemic.

My current topic is

Pneumonia.

There are different types of Pneumonia. Viral Pneumonia is caused by virus and it is very contagious. High grade fever, coughing, shortness of breath, cold, are its main symptoms. There are many home remedies that can help us to be cautious against the chances of getting Pneumonia; some even help us to boost immunity. Let us have a look at some such precautions that can help us too.

First and foremost

Pranaayam
Meditation
Yoga
Exercise
Fasting
Morning Sun Bath

Having warm water

Having nutritious and healthy food which includes fresh fruits and vegges.(seasonal)

Take more of liquids like lemon water , milk (golden milk) , herbal tea and Ayurvedic kadhas.

All these should be done at regular basis. This gives u inner strength to fight against any disease regardless of its origin.

I shall discuss all of the above in the coming blogs.

As for now , signing off.
